Cancer has touched the lives of all of us. Each year, it takes the lives of more than half a million Americans and seven million people worldwide.
This fall, actors and cancer survivors Cynthia Nixon and Edie Falco will appear in a new public service campaign created by the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Stand Up To Cancer. The campaign encourages cancer patients to win back some control in their lives by managing their treatment. In their role as the campaign ambassadors, Falco and Nixon will appear in a TV Public Service Announcement to encourage people to better understand their options and provide support for managing their care.
