The Entertainment Industry Foundation has mobilized the entertainment community around a groundbreaking initiative designed to inspire a new era of service and volunteerism. This multi-year campaign, called "iParticipate," hopes to make service a part of who we are as Americans and show what we can achieve when we all pull together.
As part of this effort, EIF has produced a series of public service announcements to reinforce the importance of volunteerism. Directed and produced by award winning director Jesse Dylan, this spot features award-winning actor Morgan Freeman. Volunteers are shown in a variety of scenarios. In each situation a light, floodlight, television glow, reflection or light source illuminates the person, creating a halo effect. The effect is to dramatize the good that each person is doing for another's health.
